HCFO Grantee Selected to Serve as the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology

HCFO grantee, David Blumenthal, M.D., was selected by the Obama Administration to serve as the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology [1]. In this role, Dr. Blumenthal will spearhead efforts to implement a national health information technology (HIT) infrastructure as stipulated in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.
