HCFO Researcher Receives Eisenberg Award

Bruce Stuart, Ph.D., received the John M. Eisenberg Article-of-the-Year Award from Health Services Research [1]. The Eisenberg award was established in 2003 and recognizes excellent and original research among all articles published in the Journal during the preceeding year. Awardees are selected by the co-editors-in-chief, the senior associate editors, and the publisher, based on the overall quality of the article and its relevance to policy-relevant areas that Dr.Eisenberg had worked in or promoted during his tenure as Director of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. The article [2], "Does Medication Adherence Lower Medicare Spending among Beneficiaries with Diabetes?" appeared in the July 2011 issue of Health Services Research.
