HCFO researcher Ateev Mehrotra, M.D. was recently quoted in the LA Times article "In-store clinics look to be a remedy for healthcare law influx [1]". Mehrotra notes that in 2014, the newly insured could exacerbate wait times to see a physician, and people may increasingly turn to retail clinics for care. Dr. Mehrotra recently completed a HCFO-funded study [2] that examined how retail health clinics impact overall utilization of health care.
