HCFO Grantee Testifies Before U.S. Department of Health and Human Services

On August 5, HCFO grantee Ann S. O'Malley, M.D., M.P.H. testified before the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the National Coordinator for Health Technology. Her testimony was part of a panel titled “Current HIT Support of Care Coordination.” In her testimony, Dr. O’Malley discussed the use of electronic medical records (EMRs) to coordinate care in practice settings. Dr. O’Malley previously completed a HCFO-sponsored study that examined how care is best coordinated in medical practices.
