HCFO Grantees Present at October Health Affairs Briefing

On October 6, 2011, Health Affairs held a briefing to unveil its October 2011 issue, "Agenda for Fighting Disparities." The issue featured two articles from HCFO-funded studies and their authors spoke at the briefing. Renee Hsia, M.D., discussed results from her article co-authored with Yu-Chu Shen, Ph.D., titled, "Rising Closures of Hospital Trauma Centers Disproportionately Burden Vulnerable Populations." Stephen Zuckerman, Ph.D., presented findings from his article, "Undocumented Immigrants, Left Out of Health Reform, Likely to Continue to Grow as a Share of the Uninsured."
