HCFO Research on Costs of Physician Interactions with Payers Highlighted in US and Canadian Press

Following recent publication in Health Affairs, HCFO-funded research led by Lawrence Casalino, M.D., Ph.D., has been highlighted in multiple news outlets in the United States and Canada. His study found that US physicians spend four times as much money interacting with insurance companies than their counterparts in Canada. This finding has generated significant media interest in both countries:
