HCFO Researcher Receives William B. Graham Prize

Mark V. Pauly, Ph.D. has been named the 2012 recipient of the William B. Graham Prize for Health Services Research from the Association of University Programs in Health Administration. The Prize recognizes the contributions of health services researchers who apply analytic methods to examine and evaluate the organization, financing, and/or delivery of health services. An independent committee of past winners, distinguished academics and internationally recognized researchers selects the recipient each year. As one of the nation's leading health economists, Dr. Pauly has made significant contributions to the fields of medical economics and health insurance including research exploring healthcare reform, conceptual foundations for cost-benefit analysis of drugs, and incentives in manages care. He received this award on May 31, 2012 during the AUPHA Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, MN.
