Findings from a study led by Gregg Meyer, M.D., senior vice president for quality and safety at Massachusetts General Hospital, were highlighted in the April 30, 2010 Kaiser Family Foundation Kaiser Daily Health Policy Report article, “Studies Prompt Attention to Streamlining Medical Billing.” The researchers conducted HCFO-funded work that examined administrative complexity from the perspective of a large physicians organization, the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization (MGPO).
