The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Synthesis Project recently released a report on Consumer-Directed Health Plans (CHDP) by M. Kate Bundorf, M.B.A., M.P.H., Ph.D., Stanford University. The report cited findings from HCFO-funded researcher Dr. Stephen Parente, University of Minnesota, on CDHPs ability to lower health care spending, particularly through reduced pharmaceutical expenditures.
